A Pillowcase workshop was held Saturday, October 24. The pillowcase is finished with French seams. One member makes pillowcases to coordinate with the quilts she makes. See the next post for instructions
We had a really great time making the pillowcases, even though there weren't too many of us in attendance. This workshop can be repeated if there is enough interest.
The Madrid Heritage Quilters was formed in 1983 by five members to commemorate the Centennial Celebration in Madrid, Iowa.
Our purpose for organizing was to share the art or and love for quilting.
Our experience levels are from novice to expert. We learn from each other as we work together on a club quilt, at classes and workshops, and during meetings.
